Dun Skyfie Mosterd Steak (Thin Slice Mustard Steak)
Dun Skyfie Mosterd Steak
Dun skyfie mosterd steak was one of those quick, clever meals your mum could pull together even on the busiest evenings. Thin slices of steak went into a mustard marinade that smelled sharp and savoury, the kind of smell that made you think, "Supper's going to be lekker tonight." The meat soaked just long enough to take on that golden colour, and when it hit the pan it cooked in seconds — sizzling, curling at the edges, and filling the kitchen with that warm mustard aroma that felt both simple and a little indulgent. It was the kind of dish that made you reach for a slice straight from the pan.
