Gebakte Feta
Ingredients
- 500 g feta cheese, cut into 16 cubes
- Fresh mint, finely chopped
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- Black pepper to taste
- Lemon slices and pita bread, to serve
Method
- Preheat the oven to 160°C.
- Chop mint finely and reserve roughly half for under the feta.
- Place a rack or ovenproof grid over a tray. Cut the feta into 2 cm cubes and arrange on the rack.
- Scatter half the chopped mint under the feta cubes.
- Sprinkle the remaining mint over the tops along with the chopped garlic and freshly ground black pepper.
- Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake until the feta is warmed through and slightly golden at the edges.
- Serve hot with lemon slices and pita bread.
