As the tray filled, the kitchen took on that unmistakable smell of savoury ham, a scent that made everyone drift closer. They were simple, cheerful, and impossible to resist — the sort of treat that vanished long before the kettle finished boiling.
> You can use cooked ham slices — try to get ones which are not too thin. You will need about 20 slices.
Ingredients
- 500 g cream cheese
- 2 tsp mustard
- 3 tsp good brandy
- 25 ml finely chopped fresh pineapple
Method
- Mix all filling ingredients thoroughly.
- Fill each ham slice with the chopped pineapple and cream-cheese mixture.
- Roll up and serve chilled or at room temperature.
