Hoender Pasteitjies

Ingredients
- 1 finely cooked and shredded chicken, seasoned
- *Batter:**
- 125 g plain flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 125 ml oil
- Grated cheese or parmesan (optional, for the top)
Method
- Mix batter ingredients together to make a smooth batter.
- In a buttered oven tray, pour in a layer of batter.
- Add the shredded chicken filling on top.
- Cover with more batter.
- Sprinkle grated cheese or parmesan over the top if desired.
- Bake at 180°C until set and golden.
